Recommended honorarium

The Council of the Union has approved the recommended fees for advocates through the decision no. 19-02 of May 27, 2022.

The Council recommended the billing on an hourly basis. The recommended tariff rates range between 70 and 170 euros per hour, but advocates can set an hourly rate outside the recommended limits. Advocates are required to keep a record of the time spent and prepare a report with information regarding the actions taken and the time spent on the interest of the client.

Advocates may also establish fixed fees per action or case.

Advocates may also agree with the client on a fee paid in case of winning the case, representing a portion of the benefit obtained by their client. The recommended ceiling is up to 17% of the value of the action.
