The Advocates\u2019 Training Center aims at providing initial training for trainee advocates and continuous professional training for practicing advocates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity of the Advocates\u2019 Training Center is regulated by the Center’s Regulation, adopted by the Union Council Decision no. 10-10\/25.08.2023 dated August 25, 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main decisions regarding the Center’s activities are made by the Council of the Center. The Council consists of 5 members appointed by the Union Council. Two members are elected from the Union\u2019s Council members for the duration of their mandate, and three are selected by the based on a contest, for a 2-year mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Training Center is led by a director, who is responsible for the Center’s activities and the execution of the Center Council’s decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The director of the Training Center is Nina LOZAN, elected by the Union’s Council on October 29, 2021, for a term of 4 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nina LOZAN has been an advocate since 2001. Previously, she was the President of Licensing Commission (2012-2015), the President of the Union of Advocates of the Republic of Moldova (2015-2017), and a member of the Council of Union of Advocates of the Republic of Moldova (2020-2021).<\/p>\n\n\n
