The advocate promotes and defends the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Advocates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>have a quasi-monopoly on court representation of individuals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provide legal advice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The advocate is obliged, among others:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to respect the law, the Statute of the legal profession and the Code of ethics of the advocate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to respect the contract on legal assistance signed with the client<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to apply all legal methods to defend the interests of the client<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to pay in time the contributions to the budget of the Union<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to undergo annual professional training courses of at least 16 hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The advocate profession is a free and independent profession.
