The Secretary General
The Secretary General of the Union is appointed by the Council of the Union through a competitive process for a 5-year mandate, which can be renewed.
The Secretary General has the following responsibilities:
- manages the activities of the Union
- signs contracts on behalf of the Union
- prepares the draft budget of the Union and ensures its execution
- recruits and runs the secretariat of the Union
The Secretary General of the Union of Advocates is Ms. Tatiana BUSUIOC, elected by Decision No. 05-09/29.03.2024 of the Council of the Union of Lawyers on March 29, 2024, regarding the competition for the position of Secretary General of the UARM.
